What is Teen Fit Pass?
Teen Fit Pass is a new Australian program available for 15 to 19 years old at selected* Planet Fitness clubs. It provides teenagers with free gym access during the school/tertiary holidays.
When exactly Teen Fit Pass participants work out at Planet Fitness?
Teenagers can work out for free from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. These times are always staffed so that assistance can be provided if required.
How can I sign up?
Simply click on the “Register Now” button and follow the prompts. You can also sign up at your local club. A parent or guardian is required to sign a permission form for teenagers aged 15 to 17.
Are there any restrictions on when and where Teen Fit Pass participants can access their Planet Fitness club?
Teenagers are not permitted to access the club between the hours of 5pm and 9am daily and unstaffed public holidays. The Black Card Spa can not be used by Teen Fit Pass participants.
What identification is required for the teenager?
Either a driver’s or learner’s licence, passport OR a student card that displays a photo and date of birth.
What if a teenager is not behaving appropriately in the club?
Anyone who accesses the club, whether a member or a Teen Fit Pass participants, is required to follow the club rules and policies. The above welcome video is a good summary of what Planet Fitness expects.
Will my teenager be given an orientation of the club?
Yes, all participants and their parents/guardians will be given a tour of the club and an overview on how to use equipment safely.
Can my teen access the free lockers in the club?
Yes, free lockers will be provided.
